COACHED INDOOR CYCLING CLASSES
WITH ERIC ATNIP
WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY 6PM
Wednesday
6:00-7:30pm
Hill Specific Workouts
90- minute CompuTrainer session designed
to work on bike power and hill climbing
efficiency. This is a coached workout on
a specific course.
Thursday
6:00-7:30pm
Beginner Thursday
60 to 90- minute easy ride to focus on
the basics of cycling. The goal of the
class is to educate participants about
the basics of cycling, power, cadence,
how to shift and cycling etiquette.

Why
keep your CompuTrainer Membership thru
the Spring & Summer.
Ask Pro Triathlete
Andy Potts!
"I
train on a
CompuTrainer
(indoor trainer that measures watts) six
days a week. It's a very controlled
environment and you can document your
progress very methodically. It could be
that I gravitate towards that because of
my background in swimming where it's a
very controlled environment. I don't do
the computer with it. I just ride
ergometer mode and train towards watts
and power. I probably ride outdoors
maybe thirty times a year. I don't ride
very long. The longest CompuTrainer
workout would be 2 hours 20 minutes.
TRX Group Training Classes

"TRX classes are a component of training
that I look forward to throughout my
week. The suspension-style training
breaks up the monotony of just doing
weights at the gym and the small class
size provides the benefit of essentially
a personal trainer.
Each exercise engages multiple muscle
groups making for an efficient overall
body workout. Since committing to TRX
training, I have increased leg and core
strength, leading to improvements in
both running and biking. I also believe
the increase in strength will reduce my
risk for injury.".

Running
Form Clinics, Saturday at Noon
Tired
of running with pain, or feeling
like you are not improving? Swim
Bike Run of Kentucky has 7
certified, Natural Running Form
coaches taught personally by Danny
Abn
us on Saturdays at noon(check our
calendar) for a
free clinic on learning to run more
naturally. Learn how to use your
core instead of pounding your legs
and risking injury. Natural running
is moving more efficiently, and
saving more energy for longer runs.
Instead of running on your heels or
over striding, we'll show you drills
designed to put you in a natural run
posture. Wear your current running
shoes, and come ready to move. We'll
also introduce you to the natural
running shoes from Newton designed
by Danny Abshire.
